General Information

HSA clinics will  suit those from all backgrounds and horse disciplines who have experience in the industry and need qualifications to teach riding, and is also helpful for those starting out, as it provides guidelines on good procedures and principles of running horse businesses.

As with all our general clinics, a commitment is required for the full 4 days, with the program including pre-clinic workbooks, practical sessions with horses during the days, and seminars and talks in the evenings. Food and Board will be provided (at a slightly extra cost for those with special dietary needs).

Costs (for general clinics) :

These cover qualifications – as earned during the  processes; pre clinic pack,  supply of horses, food and board, and 3 years of membership and registration with Horse Safety Australia. We are currently negotiation new units of competency with the Registered Training Organisation with which we have links, and hopefully will soon be in a position to  announce the names of the new units we will be assessing at our clinics. These are included in the clinic costs.

The length of your clinic will depend on the qualifications you are being assessed for:

Instructor only (4 days /3 nights) $1760

Trail Guide only (3 days/3 nights) $1650

Instructor AND Trail Guide  (5 days/4 nights) $1900
