Nina Arnott – Horse Safety Australia Board President & Consultant

Nina was one of the founders of the HSA organisation and the EO of HSA for many years and was running HSA clinics and auditing horse businesses until semi-retirement in 2022.
Nina has been involved in the development of all the current national Codes and Guides for horse activities, and has provided Expert Reports for the horse industry.
With her husband she set up and ran a horse based campsite catering for school groups for 40 years. The business included a RTO for providing qualifications in Outdoor Recreation for campsite staff at home and interstate.
Linda Molloy – Board Member, Senior Instructor & Clinic Assessor

Linda has been a clinic assessor with Horse Safety Australia for several years working with clinic participants helping them with safety relevant to instructing riding and trail riding along with ensuring the safety and welfare of the horse.
Linda has been working for TAFE NSW for twenty years as delivering horse courses and teaches and assesses across certificates II, III and Diploma level industry qualifications – online and face-to-face. Representing TAFE NSW, Linda presented at three separate National horse safety conferences in 2014, 2016 and 2018 and was part of the team who wrote the ‘TAFE NSW Safety and Training Manual for the Delivery of Equine Training’ and associated templates.
Established her own performance horse business focusing on breeding, and preparing horses for elite level equestrian sports and has had experience in thoroughbred & standardbred racing. Linda also consulted with SafeWork NSW in the creation of the ‘Code of Practice. Managing Risks when New or Inexperienced Riders or Handlers Interact with Horses in the Workplace’.
Angela Brown – Board Member, Senior Instructor and Clinic Assessor

Angela has completed university qualifications in Environmental Science, Social Science and International Development, and is currently studying a Diploma in Equitation Science.
Other study completed includes a as well as ongoing training in anatomy, hoof care, equine biomechanics and bodywork.
Angela works as an educator for training, riding and horse-keeping, with a focus on horse and rider wellbeing. Areas of special interest and further study include how equine wellbeing, lifestyle and anatomy influence horse behaviour, as well as rider and handler safety. She enjoys a variety of equine pursuits and is based near Melbourne, Victoria.
